Saint-Martin

One Island, two nations :  At the junction of the lower and the greater Antilles, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Carribean Sea, Sint Maarten has been shared by France and Netherlands. The Island is close the Guadeloupe, 3 hours from Florida and 8 hours from Paris, London .. Language : Officials languages are French and Dutch, but English is a link between the two parts of the Island as well Spanish. Climate : The Island enjoys a subtropical climate, the average temperature is 27° C . Legal requirement : A valid passport, as well as a return ticket. Time zone : + 1 hour from New York (winter), same time in summer. - 5 hours from Paris in summer - 4 hours universal time. Currencies : The officials currencies are the €uro for the French part and Guilder for thr Dutch part. US Dollar which are accepted pratically everywhere. Airport : Princess Juliana Airport is located on the Dutch side and receives flights from Europe, North and South America. And many connection with the main Carribean Islands.
